Plastic Surgery Munich
It is particularly important to us that you feel comfortable with us. Our practice combines a personal atmosphere with the functionality of a state-of-the-art hospital. Since we want to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible, we have designed the practice to be bright and friendly.
Location & how to get here
Our practice is located at Nymphenburgerstr 158 on the 2nd floor (disabled access), above the Alnatura, right on Rotkreuzplatz. The U-Bahn station “Rotkreuzplatz” (U1) is right outside our front door. Bus and tram lines also stop here.
If you would like to drive here, you can park cheaply in the Rotkreuzklinikum carpark opposite us.
History of our practice
The practice clinic was founded in 2005 by Dr. med. Jürgen Schaff in Goethestr. 4 in Munich with surgical activity at the Rotkreuzklinikum Munich. From 2008, he worked together with Dr. med Susanne Morath in the practice and hospital. At the end of 2019, he handed over the practice and management of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Rotkreuzklinikum to the next generation. Since 01/01/20, his long-standing practice partner Dr. med. Susanne Morath, together with the former senior consultant in the department, Dr. med. Hendrik Schöll, has continued to run the practice and the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Rotkreuzklinikum.
In March 2020, the practice moved to its current, new premises at Nymphenburger Str. 158, right on Rotkreuzplatz, and is now within walking distance of the hospital.
The practice is known far beyond the country’s borders and has built up a national and international reputation over the many years, particularly in the field of breast and genital reassignment surgery (MTF and FTM) as well as aesthetic and reconstructive genital surgery.
Treatment at our practice and as an inpatient at the Rotkreuzklinikum Munich
We can perform minor surgical procedures in the fully equipped operating theatre in our practice under local anaesthesia.
Operations requiring twilight sleep or a short anaesthetic are performed in the outpatient operating theatre in the Rotkreuzklinikum opposite the practice. Special anaesthetic techniques mean that you will be fit to leave the hospital again after a brief recovery period.
For larger and more complicated operations that require an inpatient stay, we have the operating theatres and a separate ward at the Rotkreuzklinikum at our disposal. When it comes to post-operative care, our team will be there for you around the clock and can guarantee constant individual care.
